Happy Good Friday | He Died For The Broken Ones

Happy Good Friday!  As we celebrate what Jesus did for us on the cross today, let’s also celebrate WHY he did it.  To draw the unwanted, the unloved, the broken, the hurting, the sinners close to himself.  He loves you as much as he loved Matthew, this tax collector. This is a clip from History Channel’s, The Bible Series, an amazing interpretation of this moment with a lot of heart.

God says, “To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again.” Isaiah 54:9  Remember, Jesus’ sacrifice that we celebrate on this day satisfied the wrath of God.  God’s not mad at you, he’s not disappointed in you, he loves you and is in a good mood! Because of his sacrifice, we have full access to everything He is and everything He has.  Be blessed today, it’s a GOOD Friday!
